Full Time Early Childhood Soccer Coach Needed for Children Ages 2-8

We want our Soccer Shots sessions to be the BEST 30-40 minutes of each child's week. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication. Have fun, get paid and impact children!

We offer classes 6 days a week Monday through Saturday morning. Classes all year round and take place at schools, daycares, recreation centers and parks. Class start times vary depending upon location but typically fall within the following time frames and repeat each week: morning (8:30 am - 12 pm) or afternoon (2:30 pm - 6:00 pm).

WE ARE LOOKING FOR COACHES WHO ARE:

Responsible: Timely, attentive, safety conscious, and committed to fulfilling assigned schedule.
Engaging: Comfortable and confident, the ability to keep a group 10 or more children safely engaged, entertained and excited to learn about the beautiful game of soccer.
Enthusiastic & Fun: Outgoing, animated, willing to sing songs, be silly/goofy and have the ability to connect with young children (2 - 8 years old).
Patient/Adaptable: Recognizes that not every game will go as planned, distractions will occur (airplanes are so cool) and patience is an ally.
Professional: Neat in appearance, friendly and courteous in all communication with childcare staff, parents and administrators.
Team Player: Collaborative, dependable, excellent communicator and commitment to elevating those around you.
Soccer Enthusiast: Soccer experience is preferred, however, if you are great working with children, have some familiarity playing the game, and love the game - this can work.
Prior Experience Working with Children: Must be able to engage and interact with 2-8 year olds and have experience doing so.
Reliable Transportation: Must have a safe and reliable car. You are responsible for driving yourself to your sites. Must have a clean driving record.
Background check cleared: Must pass a Federal & State Background Check and FBI Fingerprinting.

A starting salary of $30,000 - 32,000 per year (based on prior experience)

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EARLY CHILDHOOD SOCCER COACH:

Full-time Soccer Shots Coaches will coach approximately 35-40 sessions a week over five days in schools and parks all over New Orleans. Saturday sessions are optional with the opportunity to earn extra pay. Every week, full time coaches have the opportunity to impact over 250 children in the New Orleans area!

Training - We make sure our coaches are comfortable on the field by offering informative online & in-person training to equip coaches with our curriculum and helpful (developmentally appropriate) coaching techniques.
Curriculum – Our curriculum is FULL of the stuff kids and parents love! Our program is curriculum based, so coaches are provided with session guides and mobile friendly resources to help you deliver the Soccer Shots experience.
Ongoing feedback and growth opportunities - We’re a growing business and are always looking to find passionate and reliable team members to help us continue to grow.
Equipment - We provide everything you need for a Soccer Shots session in an on-the-go bag that fits in the trunk of a car. It’s why we can have Soccer Shots in convenient locations like school gyms, classrooms, outdoor spaces, local parks and community centers.
