SOCCER SHOTS COUS:    
Soccer Shots Company Owned Units (COUS) was established in 2010. COUS covers the regions of Washington D.C., Maryland, Northern Virginia, Miami FL, New York City NY, and Nashville TN. Soccer Shots Baltimore-Washington stretches from Harford County, MD to Prince William County, VA.  Soccer Shots Baltimore-Washington offices are located in Laurel, MD, and Fairfax, VA. COUS works closely with Soccer Shots Franchising national headquarters in Middletown, PA.    
  
REPORTS TO:  Director of Talent Development and Culture 
 
OBJECTIVES: The Recruiting Manager plays a strategic role in filling vacancies across the organization to support Soccer Shots operations throughout the Baltimore-Washington region. In this role, you will be leading and managing the organization’s recruiting efforts and be responsible for part-time and full-time vacancies.  
 
You will be responsible for partnering with and supporting the Coaching Managers during the recruiting and screening stage for coaches and interns, and other full-time positions. We’re looking for a motivated individual who can source talent locally and strategically and is thoroughly passionate about our mission.  
 
Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying additional opportunities in the communities that we serve to partner with local businesses and organizations to increase brand awareness. 
 
Coaching, Training, and Staff Leadership 
  • Create and refresh job requisites according to company needs 
  • Review candidate applications in a timely manner 
  • Implement the company’s high standard for coaching and develop a team of high performing coaches. 
  • Work with Coaching Team to ensure seasonal coaching needs are met through virtual and in-person interviews 
  • Partner with Training Manager to ensure successful on-boarding and training for new coaches 
  • Support the Training Manager with any training, onboarding, and continuing development of coaches 
  • Responsible for ensuring coaches have a positive impact in the organization’s NPS scores 
  • Create processes for accountability & project management of the Soccer Shots Program schedules and seasonal evaluations on all coaches 
  • Responsible for creating a culture representative of Soccer Shots Core Values within the team 
  • Responsible for schedule completion each season 
  • Appropriately prepare staff needs for upcoming season, and forecast needs for future seasons 
  • Coaching based on business need 
  • Responsible for planning, preparing, and executing the seasonal coaches meetings 
  • Work with Director of Talent Development & Culture in creating and developing processes that enhance the Coaching Department 
 Business Administration 
  • Collaborate with Human Resources Department to ensure compliance with coaches 
  • Work on forecasting models and opportunities that effectively and economically benefit the business and the staffing needs 
  • Preparing reports and presenting to the Director of Talent Development and Culture as needed 
  • Ensuring there is regular upkeep of the department’s tools for recruitment, training & development 
WORKING HOURS/LOCATION/SCHEDULE: 
 
  • The job description above is a full-time, exempt position requiring a minimum of 40 hours of work per week. Your weekly agenda and schedule will be assigned by your supervisor. Many Soccer Shots programs run weeknights & weekends, and availability is paramount. During seasons, expected working hours will vary and will include working on weekends and some weekday evenings.  This position is based out of the Laurel, MD office. 
SOCCER SHOTS OBJECTIVES: 
 
  1. For Soccer Shots to be the best run, most popular, and most successful program offered in the Baltimore-Washington region.  
  2. For Soccer Shots to have a reputation of excellence. An objective measure of each territory’s reputation for quality will be learned in the Net Promoter Score survey conducted at the end of each season 
  3. To be a Top 10% franchise in participant registration and revenue (in category) and per capita rating and to meet and exceed seasonal and annual enrollment and revenue goals 
COMPANY EXPECTATIONS: 
 
  1.  Prompt, reliable, and professional communication—responds immediately to candidates, customers (parents, directors, staff), and always responds to supervisor and other Soccer Shots support staff within 24 hours 
  2. Meet weekly, seasonal, and annual timelines and deadlines. Develop systems to stay organized, keep good records, and be efficient with your time 
  3. Meet seasonal performance goals. Go above and beyond company expectations to sell, promote and market our program prior to each season 
  4. Provide excellent customer service  
  5. Adhere to all company policies and represent Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity 
  6. Hire, and train coaches who will uphold a standard of excellence and create a positive reputation for Soccer Shots

company's six Core Values. Compensation is based on performance, and Soccer Shots reserves the 
right to terminate employment for failure to meet expectations. 
 
PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS AND REVIEWS: 
 
  • Performance will be reviewed after the first 60 days of employment 
  • Objectives of the position and company expectations will be reviewed quarterly through a meeting with supervisor 
Required traits/competencies:

 REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 
 
  • College degree preferred in a related field 
  • Preferred 5 years of youth coaching experience 
  • Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience 
  • Preferred 5 years of experience in sports management or a similar field 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite 
 
Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
