Soccer Shots Instructor - $20/hour PART-TIME

Soccer Shots is looking for dedicated and fun coaches to teach at our classes for 2-8-year-olds in Tinley Park, Frankfort, Orland Park, and surrounding areas. We are looking for coaches who enjoy teaching kids, are confident, love youth sports, and are looking for future growth within the company.

5-10 hours with room for more hours in our future seasons.
A coach is paid $15/hour while training and $20/hour after training. Training usually lasts 2-4 weeks depending on a coach's availability and ability to understand our curriculum. Performance raises are given after 2 completed seasons for dedicated and reliable coaches.
Flexible schedule with the ability to schedule around family, school, and other jobs.

Soccer Shots provides the equipment and curriculum needed to run a successful class. We have a team of coaches and a leadership team who will train and provide support throughout the season.

The ideal applicant must meet the following criteria:

Available between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm 2-3 days a week, not including Sundays. Late afternoon and early evening availability is a plus.
Consistent availability throughout the winter and spring seasons.
A love of educating children and making a difference in their lives.
Reliable and always on time. A coach rarely calls off of work.
High energy, confident, respectful, and fun.
Loves sports; soccer playing experience is not required but a willingness to learn the game is.
Excellent communication with our leadership team, parents, and directors.
Good physical stamina as you could be running, kneeling, and squatting on a field for up to 3 hours. Coaches must be able to carry an equipment bag that contains 14 balls, nets, and more.

Training - We make sure our coaches are comfortable on the field by offering informative online & in-person training to equip coaches with our curriculum and helpful (developmentally appropriate) coaching techniques.
Curriculum – Our curriculum is FULL of the stuff kids and parents love! Our program is curriculum-based, so coaches are provided with session guides and mobile-friendly resources to help you deliver the Soccer Shots experience.
Ongoing feedback and growth opportunities - We’re a growing business and are always looking to find passionate and reliable team members to help us continue to grow.
Equipment - We provide everything you need for a Soccer Shots session in an on-the-go bag that fits in the trunk of a car. It’s why we can have Soccer Shots in convenient locations like school gyms, classrooms, outdoor spaces, local parks, and community centers.
