SOCCER SHOTS COUS:

Soccer Shots COUS (Company Owned Units or COUS) was established in 2010. COUS covers the regions of Washington DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, Miami, New York City Central, NY, Nashville, TN, and York County, PA. COUS works closely with Soccer Shots Franchising national headquarters in Middletown, PA.

Reports to: Sr. Coaching Manager

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: The Coaching Coordinator will play a key role in managing and supporting our team of coaches in York County, Pennsylvania. The Coaching Coordinator is responsible for assisting in instructor performance through regular evaluation and performance conversations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all instructors meet the standards of program quality and create a liberating culture within the team and the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Manage instructor performance through regular evaluations, training, performance discussions, and performance improvement plans. Provide feedback on instructors to all stakeholders.
  • Partner with recruiting team to identify staffing needs season to season
  • Screen, interview and hire instructors
  • Develop strong relationships with part-time instructors; identify key individuals that can grow within our organization
  • Assist in the creation and manage schedules for part-time instructors across different territories
  • Assist in leading regular instructor meetings to discuss new initiatives, trends, etc.
  • Create initiatives that further elevate our core values and provide a positive experience for our part-time instructors
  • Work with operations team to identify key performance indicators that improve NPS scores and share results with team of instructors
  • Weekly meetings with Executive Director and team to discuss and analyze program quality and needs
Coaching

  • Prior soccer experience is not required. We only require the passion for positively impacting children’s lives and looking for individuals that are safety conscious, caring, organized, responsible, and energetic.
  • You will be the face of Soccer Shots and responsible for executing incredible sessions that showcase what Soccer Shots is all about to new instructors and key stakeholders.
  • Coach 18-20 sessions per week per season. Where possible, use coaching sessions as training opportunities for instructors.
ROLE/CLASSIFICATION:
The job description above is a full-time, exempt position.

Working Hours/Location/Schedule:
The position requires 40 hours of work per week. Programs operate during the weekdays, weeknights, and weekends. Availability within these times are required. This position will be working primarily in the York County area with occasional commutes to our central office in Burtonsville, MD (2 times per month). You will work out details of your weekly agenda with your Coaching Manager.

Performance Evaluation and Reviews:

Soccer Shots will perform an initial review 60 days after initial hire date.
Compensation: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
