About the Role:
Join Soccer Shots - NWLA as a Youth Soccer Coach and inspire young athletes to develop their skills and love for the game! We are looking for passionate individuals who can create a positive and engaging environment for children aged 2-8. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of kids while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate soccer sessions that promote skill development and enjoyment.
- Engage with children and parents to foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their skills and confidence.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and games.
- Maintain a positive attitude and enthusiasm to motivate young athletes.
- Collaborate with other coaches to create a cohesive coaching strategy.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings to enhance coaching techniques.
- Promote Soccer Shots programs and events within the community.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a coaching or teaching capacity.
- Passion for soccer and an understanding of the game.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings.
- Background check clearance required.
- Enthusiastic and energetic demeanor to engage young players.
Our Schedule:
- Mondays through Fridays: mornings 8:30-12:00PM , afternoons 2:00-5:00PM , and evenings 5:00-8:00PM
- Saturdays mornings 8:30-12:00PM

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

- We put every Soccer Shots coach through our comprehensive training program to receive certification that includes learning the use of developmentally appropriate coaching techniques.
