We are looking for soccer instructors to join our team of coaches on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings at our PreK-8th grade recreational soccer league at the Lockport Township Park District. Our fall season begins September 1st and ends October 24th. We also have a winter and spring league for anyone interested in continuing to coach.

We are looking for soccer instructors to join our team of coaches on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings at our PreK-8th grade recreational soccer league at the Lockport Township Park District. The ideal applicant must meet the following criteria:
1. A love of working with children and making a difference in their lives.
2. The ability to follow a pre-written curriculum. Our coaches are not required to develop their practice plans.
3. Enjoy playing or coaching soccer with the ability to teach basic skills.
4. Must be at least 16 years old with reliable transportation.
5. Understand basic reffing rules. Soccer Shots coaches ref games on Saturday mornings. Referee certification is not required, but a basic knowledge of the game is.
6. Ability to work with a coaching partner and independently. Most coaches work as a coaching team, but on rare occasions a coach will coach a practice alone.
