What is Soccer Shots?
Soccer Shots® is the children's soccer experience, using an acclaimed recreational curriculum and great coaches. Through the beautiful game, we aim to develop character, motor skills, and teamwork. Our team believes children are invaluable and our goal is simple: leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve. We coach at over 300 locations around the Twin cities, and our goal is to reach 20,000 children in the year 2026.

NOW HIRING A Soccer Shots Staffing and Training Coordinator!
We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual who is highly organized, caring, patient, positive and committed to helping people reach their potential. The Staffing and Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring Soccer Shots has the right coaches in the right places at the right times. This position owns coach staffing, recruiting coordination, season scheduling, and coach training while supporting the broader Coaching Department.

Key Responsibilities:

Staffing & Recruiting

· Own staffing needs for approximately 40–60 part-time coaches across the Twin Cities area.

· Monitor current and future staffing needs and proactively identify gaps before they affect program delivery.

· Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified coaching candidates and coordinate recruiting, interviews, hiring, and onboarding.

· Respond quickly to coach resignations and availability changes and develop solutions to maintain session coverage.

Scheduling & Season Planning

· Create and maintain coach schedules based on program needs, coach availability, location, and qualifications.

· Develop coach training and season schedules and ensure coaches are prepared before each season begins.

Training & Coach Support

· Help develop and deliver training for new and existing coaches.

· Support new-coach onboarding and provide ongoing guidance on curriculum, expectations, and coaching standards.

· Assist with coach observations, feedback, and development initiatives.

· Coach Soccer Shots sessions as needed to support staffing and maintain a strong understanding of the coach experience.

Coaching Department Support

· Partner with the Director and Assistant Director of Coaching on staffing, season preparation, and program quality.

· Track staffing and recruiting metrics and communicate needs and risks to coaching leadership.

· Identify and implement improvements that make staffing, scheduling, and training more efficient and effective.

Work Schedule:
The expected working hours are Monday through Friday and one Saturday a month. Working times will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. four days a week; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. one day a week. When working Saturday hours, hours may be flexed to maintain a 40 hour work week.

Work Location

The Soccer Shots office is located in White Bear Lake Minnesota. Remote work is to be expected also, especially when coaching and supporting the coaching staff.

Classification

This is a full-time and salaried position. Minimum of 40 hours a week is required, with additional hours sometimes needed to meet deadlines and goals.

· Comfortable recruiting, interviewing, scheduling, and working with college-aged employees.

· Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.

· Passionate about working with children and developing young coaches.

· Previous recruiting, staffing, scheduling, coaching, youth sports, education, or leadership experience preferred.

In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.

Compensation: $46,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
