About the Role
Soccer Shots is looking for a Sales & Marketing Intern who wants hands-on experience growing a real business while making an impact in your local San Diego community.
This hybrid role combines digital marketing, sales, community outreach, and on-field coaching. You’ll help generate leads, promote our programs, build community partnerships, and track marketing results—while also coaching 5–12 soccer sessions per week with children ages 18 months–10 years.
It’s a great fit for a business or marketing student who wants to build practical skills while working in an active, people-focused service environment.
What You’ll Do
Sales & Marketing:
Soccer Shots is looking for a Sales & Marketing Intern who wants hands-on experience growing a real business while making an impact in your local San Diego community.
This hybrid role combines digital marketing, sales, community outreach, and on-field coaching. You’ll help generate leads, promote our programs, build community partnerships, and track marketing results—while also coaching 5–12 soccer sessions per week with children ages 18 months–10 years.

What You’ll Do
Sales & Marketing:
- Support marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, and promotional content at events.
- Engage with prospective customers and follow up on leads and inquiries.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify growth opportunities.
- Learn and eventually manage multiple digital marketing platforms.
- Track campaign and lead-generation results and assist with reporting.
- Bring new ideas to the team and help turn them into action.
Coaching:
- Coach 5–12 soccer sessions per week and substitute as needed.
- Lead fun, structured, and engaging sessions for young children.
- Create a safe, positive, high-energy experience for children and families.

We're Looking For Someone Who
- Is pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Is energetic, organized, reliable, and eager to learn.
- Communicates confidently with customers, teammates, and community partners.
- Is comfortable leading groups of young children.
- Has an interest in social media, digital marketing, and business growth.
- Can work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Has reliable transportation and can commit to 20+ hours/week, including Saturdays.
- Previous sales, marketing, customer-service, or internship experience is a plus but definitely not necessary.
