About the Role:
Soccer Shots East and South San Diego is looking for an energetic and creative FT Marketing and Events Assistant to join our team in La Mesa, CA! This is a fantastic opportunity to combine a passion for youth sports with hands-on marketing and event coordination experience and coaching in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, promoting, and executing events and community programs.
- Manage social media content creation and scheduling across platforms to grow brand awareness and engagement.
- Coordinate logistics for local events.
- Support outreach efforts to schools, parks, and community organizations in the East and South County areas.
- Design marketing materials.
- Track and report on marketing campaign performance and event attendance.
- Assist coaches and staff on-site at events to ensure smooth operations and positive participant experiences.
- Coach 10-15 soccer sessions per week and substitute as needed.
- Lead fun, structured, and engaging sessions for young children.
- Create a safe, positive, high-energy experience for children and families.
- Ensure a remarkable experience for families, and a beloved growth experience for every child.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field with proven experience.
- Experience with media platforms and basic content creation tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for youth development, soccer, or youth sports.
- Commitment of 30-40 hours/week, including Saturdays (required) and Sundays for special company events.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and a collaborative team player.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation: $18.00 - $24.50 per hour
