We are currently seeking: 5-20 Hours per week (Weekdays)

(ECE) Program Ambassador Preschool Soccer **Need Weekday Afternoon Availability
- Clairemont, Mission Valley, Mira Mesa, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Oceanside, Encinitas, San Marcos, Rancho Bernardo (More locations as well)
- 12 Early Childhood Development college units (completed or in progress) **Preferred, not required.

Job Description:

- May coach between 5-15 ECE soccer themed classes a week for children (depending on availability), ages 2-6, using the Soccer Shots program curriculum, at pre-designated parks and/or schools
- Maintains communication with parents/guardians through email
- Facilitates and maintains positive relationships with schools, parents and guardians
- Participates in the Soccer Shots mentorship program, media events, and trainings
- Responsible for running demo sessions in preschools, elementary schools, and parks
- Handles administrative duties, in/out office, approximately 1 - 2 hours a week

This is more than a "job". We are looking for fun, enthusiastic staff that has the desire to provide a safe, fun, educational environment for children ages 2 to 5 years old.

Caring and engaging with each child through specific and positive affirmation
Organized, who plan ahead and are systematic in routine, conducting each session according to the lesson plan and working with children to maintain appropriate order for the age group
Committed to being the "face" of Soccer Shots through communication, behavior, and energy
Facilitators and relationship builders with schools, parents and guardians

QUALIFICATIONS :

- Must have at least 12 units in ECE or CD units in core course work: child/human dev, program/curriculum and child family and community*
- * A minimum of 1 year experience working with 3 to 5 year olds*
- Favorable pre-employment TB test and health screening*
- Favorable pre-employment DOJ/FBI fingerprinting clearance and child abuse index processing*
- Immunization Records (Measles, Pertussis and Influenza) provided within 30 days of employment* - Current CPR and First aid certificate must be provided within 30 days of employment*
- Reliable transportation is a must, as Coaches may need to travel to any of our locations throughout San Diego

*Position is 5-20 hours per week Monday through Friday Afternoons. (Sat AM also depending on availability)

SALARY/BENEFITS:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour (starting) depending on verifiable education and work experience.

Training - We make sure our coaches are comfortable on the field by offering informative online & in-person training to equip coaches with our curriculum and helpful (developmentally appropriate) coaching techniques.
Curriculum – Our curriculum is FULL of the stuff kids and parents love! Our program is curriculum based, so coaches are provided with session guides and mobile friendly resources to help you deliver the Soccer Shots experience.
Ongoing feedback and growth opportunities - We’re a growing business and are always looking to find passionate and reliable team members to help us continue to grow.
Equipment - We provide everything you need for a Soccer Shots session in an on-the-go bag that fits in the trunk of a car. It’s why we can have Soccer Shots in convenient locations like school gyms, classrooms, outdoor spaces, local parks and community centers.
